Understanding Prefab Home Options in Michigan

Construction Type - All of the methods listed below are considered “prefab” as they include components that are pre-fabricated in an off-site manufacturing facility and later shipped to the final build site.

- Kit - Kit Houses are built using a series of pre-measured & cut parts. - Manufactured - Manufactured houses (sometimes referred to as mobile homes) are very similar in nature to modular homes.
