Yardzen is an online landscape design company. Similar to other online landscape design services, Yardzen primarily focuses on creating custom landscape designs though customers can choose a design package that includes (or excludes) certain services.
At the most basic level, Yardzen offers a botanical design package. At this level, Yardzen provides individuals with a custom planting design and 3D renderings for customers with lots up to ½ acre of space. The next level up, Yardzen offers landscape designs that incorporate both planting and hardscaping designs which come with the same deliverables as the botanical package plus 1 round of revisions, shoppable furniture, and the ability to match with a vetted contractor. The second highest tier includes the same elements as the landscape designs plus home exterior redesign services. And at the highest level, Yardzen’s premium package includes all of the above-mentioned plus lighting, furniture, and style design plus an additional round of revisions.
When first working with Yardzen, customers start by completing a design questionnaire and sharing property photos. Additionally, buyers use Yardzen’s budget tool which can help designers create a design package in-line with customers’ budgets. Based on the questionnaire and an individual’s wants, Yardzen’s designers come up with an initial round of sketches for the project. After revisions, 3D renderings are created and CAD plans are drafted. At that point, if desired, Yardzen can match individuals with a vetted contractor to complete the project.
