Irontown Homes Review
Irontown Homes is a Utah-based prefab modular home builder serving the western United States. They build their own plans as well as custom homes by other architects. Irontown Homes handles the design, permitting, construction and delivery and installation of each home. A local contractor handles the construction of the foundation and the finishing and connecting of the homes to utilities after it is setup. Anytime during construction, customers can visit the company website to watch their home as it is being built.
Irontown Homes focuses on high-end modular construction, featuring traditional designs, as well as spanish, farmhouse, mountain, and other selections. Homes range in size from 534 sq ft to 9902+ sq ft. Each comes with three options for finish packages: Modern, Designer, or Executive. Irontown also has brand of tiny homes geared for recreation areas named SLEDhaus.
Strengths:
Transparent building process - You coordinate with Ironhomes through the entire process and can even watch the home on camera as it is being constructed
Spanish Design - Uncommon for other modular builders, Irontown Homes offers numerous Spanish home styles to choose from.
Reasons they may not work for you:
You have to do a full walk through of the home at the factory post construction of the modules
You live outside of the western United States service area
